The Auditor of Public Accounts (APA) acts as the General Assembly's eyes and ears, independently monitoring and reporting how state agencies and institutions spend taxpayers' money. To effectively accomplish our mission, we develop a strategic plan every five years to ensure we remain on the cutting edge of the auditing profession.
